Take advantage of the special offer on the new IBM SmartCloud Enterprise service
If you’re thinking of making the move to a cloud-based world, then now is the time to do it, because it won’t cost you a penny. IBM is offering new customers free use of two virtual servers from its SmartCloud Enterprise data centre in Enhingen, Germany for two months.
IBM SmartCloud Enterprise is an agile cloud infrastructure as a service (IaaS) designed to provide rapid access to security-rich, enterprise-class virtual server environments, and is particularly suited to businesses looking to do development and test activities and other dynamic workloads.
The two-month offer gives you free use of:
– 32-bit Copper and 32-bit Silver machines
– Virtual machines to run Linux (Red Hat or Novell SUSE) or Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008
– 256 gigabytes of persistent storage
All you need to do is sign a regular SmartCloud Enterprise contract and you will receive the special Welcome Package, which will provide access to the free promotional server environment.
If you want to continue using your servers after the promotional period is up, or if you want access to more servers during the two-month trial, then simply sign a full IBM SmartCloud Enterprise service contract. Once your confirmation has been received at the IBM Cloud Business Office, you’ll then get full, unrestricted access to the SmartCloud Enterprise Services.
Hurry, because access is only free up until 11 September 2011.
